Post-Craft: The Object As Information, was a conceptual artist’s book made to accompany my art history thesis of the same name. The book served as a translation of my thesis research into an embodied reading experience. My thesis focused on the term “post-craft”, a term which has emerged across scholarship within the past twenty-years in reference to the way contemporary craft has shifted from its “original” definition. Following Tate Modern’s definition of craft as an object with a function, post-craft abstracts the notion of an “object” all together.
